Collaborative Partnerships
In 2000, as a result of provincial BScN degree entry-to-practice requirements for registered nurses in Ontario, Laurentian University entered into a formal collaborative educational partnership with Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Sciences, Northern College of Applied Arts and Sciences, and Sault College of Applied Arts and Science. Upon admission to the program, students may complete all four years of the program at the institution to which they have been accepted. The first intake of nursing students into the program occurred at Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie in 2001. Please refer to the individual college web sites for more information.
More recently, Laurentian University entered into a formal collaborative educational partnership with St. Lawrence College encompassing its Brockville, Cornwall, and Kingston sites to facilitate access to BScN education. The first intake of students is presently completing Year III of the four-year program. For more information, please visit the St. Lawrence College web site.
